Laura Marcato CPA, CA

Managing Partner
Laura obtained her Chartered Accountant designation in Alberta in 2004 and has been with the Firm for over 25 years. She is responsible for the Firm’s CPA training program, serves as a mentor to CPA students, and is a QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor. Laura is a member of the Public Sector Accounting Board of Canada, where she contributes to discussions and the development of public sector accounting standards. She also serves on the CPA Alberta Tribunal Board, participating in professional conduct hearings and supporting professional standards, ethics, and governance within the accounting profession. Michael G. Seniuk Jr. CPA, CA

Partner
Michael obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in Alberta in 1982 and joined the firm shortly after receiving his designation. With more than 35 years of experience in public accounting, he has worked with a wide range of clients and has extensive knowledge across many areas of accounting and professional practice. Over the years, Michael has developed long-standing relationships with clients and brings a practical, experienced approach to their accounting needs. His decades with the firm provide valuable continuity and perspective when assisting both established and growing businesses. Zahid Maqsood, CPA

Senior Manager
Zahid graduated from MacEwan University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2015 and has since built his career in public accounting. During his time with the firm, he has gained experience in a variety of areas of public practice and earned his CPA designation. As a Senior Manager, Zahid works closely with clients and the firm’s accounting team, bringing a practical and detail-oriented approach to his work. He continues to develop his knowledge and experience while assisting clients with their ongoing accounting needs. Colton graduated from MacEwan University with a Bachelor of Commerce in 2019 and obtained his CPA designation in 2025. Since joining the team in January of 2021, Colton been grown his experience in auditing, corporate tax and personal tax. Spencer Fields, CPA

Senior Accountant

Spencer obtained his business degree in 2020 from MacEwan University with majors in both accounting and management. He is currently working toward getting his CPA designation. Spencer has been growing his experience in all areas of accounting since he started at the firm in January of 2021. Hamed Rashnoo, BCom, MFin

Senior Accountant

Hamed graduated with a Bachelor’s in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Finance in Iran. He also holds a CFA Level 1 certificate and is planning to start his CPA. Since joining the company in 2024, Hamed has been growing his experience in taxation and not-for-profit accounting. Previously, he gained extensive experience in private accounting in Iran.
